GRENADINES -- GRENADA -- TRINIDAD SPECIFICATIONS HULL AND
APPENDAGES The full is a sandwich composite construction using 1200gm2
quadriaxial stitched fabrics and a Klegecell/Divinicell composite material, but solid GRP below
waterline. This gives a stiff laminate with excellent strength and fatigue properties. The
enginebeds are of GRP. Special care is taken to assure a rigid foundation and proper adhesion
to the hull. Sea-cocks under water line are of silicone bronze material and located in accessible
locations. Hose connections to inboard side of sea-cocks have two hose clamps. All color pigments
used are of approved type. Standart gelcoat color is white. Bottom treated with epoxy, and
primed, with anti-fouling. Rudders are solid boasting a 45 mm solid stainless steel shaft complete
Whitlock steering system with dual steering wheels, operating an open wire sheave system. Each
wheel is independent. Structural bulkheads are of plywood laminated to hull and deck. Bulkhead
thickness is 22 mm. DECK AND FITTINGS
The
deck is of sandwich composite construction using 1200gm2 quadriaxial stitched fabric with Balsa
core. High density RL/material under all deck fittings. Deck surface has a moulded non-slip
finish. Standard gelcoat color is white. Winches are all Anderson self tailing type. Two primary
sheet winches are Anderson 52 2-speed. Two secondary main sheet winches are Anderson 2-speed. Two
halyard winches on mast are Anderson 40 2-speed. Electric anchor windlass with foot switches
- windlass - lofransairon 1000w. Stainless steel stem head fitting with two nylon anchor rollers.
Stainless steel shroud chain plates are bolted to structural bulkheads. 4 corner cleats, 2
spring cleats. All cleats with fairleads. 1 mooring cleat. 10 coach roof stainless steel step/handholds.
Two aluminium Genoa tracks with heavy duty antal cars, stops, ends. Complete Antal main-sheeting
system with ait block. Main sheet control is possible from both helming positions. Four Gennaker
U-bolts with blocks. Two water tank fillers. One diesel inlet. Three breathers. Electrical
gooseneck at mast. Four furling line lead blocks and jammer. Four fore deck hatches for storage

eight stantions, two aft stantions 700mm high of stainless steel with all bases bolted through
deck. Spacing and height conforming to ORC requirements. Life line gates each side amid ships.
Dual life lines of 4 mm stainless steel wire with 6 mm bottle-screw for tensioning. Folding
stainless steel swimming ladder port side with twin full length handrails up each stepped transom.
Sliding entrance door with 6.5mm laminated clear glass, locking. Window alongside sliding door
views navigation table from cock-pit, also 6.5mm clear laminated glass. Engine throttle and
gear controls by Morse-port side. 60LB plow anchor with 25 m 10mm calibrated chain spliced
to 50m 16mm anchor braided warp. Two x 9kg gas bottles with LP regular in self-ventilating
gas locker in front locker - barbecue - bimini in stainless steel for all the cock-pit - main

Two Siemends 53 watt solar panels and regulator in stainless steel framework mounted on two
whiteepoxy coated aluminium davits for lifting dinghy on transom. Two blocks ant two cleats

red and white cockpit light. Three speakers for music and VHF. Two GRP deluxe helming swivel
chairs with foot rests. Two Richie power dampened compasses ahead of each helm station. Engine

GRP cockpit table with unique swing table top with storage under for life raft and safety equipment
(not supplied) in cockpit. Five drains in cockpit floor with protection cowl under bridge deck.
All lockers are self-draining and flowcoated white. Three removable inspection covers for steering
cable-linkage access. All sailing sheets supplied for main. Genoa and traveller. Two white
epoxy coated aluminium cross beams with two UV protected trampolines at bow secured in stainless
steel framework and lashed to deck. Autohelm ST50 speed, depth and wind instruments in GRP
console above sliding door and easily viewed from both helm positions. INTERIOR
FINISHES All joinery work and finishes in the living areas are done
in accordance with the best yacht practise, using first-grade materials. All veneers and solid
wood is American white oak ans sprayed with a catalysed lacquer for a satin sheen finish. All
furniture is set in an ultra modern GRP capping trim. All furniture has rounded corners. All
ceilings and topside lininfs in GRP. All wood has five layers of lacquer applied to give a
film thickness of 200 micron. SALOON Semi-circular
seating with lavish uphostery. Adjustable oak coffee/dining table. Six halogen recessed lights.
Sliding door to cockpit and window behind navigation station. NAVIGATION
STATION
Situated in saloon. L-shaped desk with seat. All instruments
mounted in angled GRP console. Chart locker behind Nav. Table with bouble door. Mounted in
GRP console are the following : 24 way switchboard with carling circuit breakers, link 10 digital
battery monitoring system, solar amp meter ans start battery volt meter. Uniden 25 watt VHF
radio, Autohelm navcentre 300 digital chart plotter, incorporating GPS, radio-cassette player
with two x 70 W internal speakers ans two x 30 W waterproof speakers outside in cockpit, guest
battery switch. One set of drawers. Drinks cabinet for bottles and glasses. Radar Pathinder
SL 70 Raytheon - Auto pilot 6000 Autohelm. FORECABINS - PORT ANT STARBOARD Kingsize
2.1 m x 1.5 m bed with angled headboard and lee board. Two cabinets with seating in between.
Opposite is a huge wardrobe with four shelves and hanging locker. Dressing table with three
cupboards underneath. Two opening Gebo hatches and a side opening Gebo portlight, two halogen

CABINS - PORT AND STARBOARD
Large 1.9m x 1.4m slightly tapered double
berth with engine room under. Two large cupboards with shelf above bed. Huge wardrobe with
shelves. Seat. Locker at foot of bed gives access to rudder controls, tiller arms and steering.
Fluorescent and reading light. Large opening port light above and side opening port light. STBD
side en-suite shower with handbasin ent toilet fuorescent light and side opening port light.
Mirror ant toilet accessories. Plug for 12V - 220 V 110 V. ENGINES
Two
x Yanmar Marine diesel engines Model 2GML SD20 Saildrives. Port side water cooled and STBD
side fresh water cooled with heat exchanger coupled to a calorifier for hot water. each engine
is mounted on a specially moulded bed. Output is 13.4kw/18.2HP at 3600rpm. Wet exhaust system
by Vetus comprising of water trap and silencer. Two bladed aluminium propeller with rubber
bush size 15X13L. Fuel capacity is 300L in a stainless steel tank with sight gauge and shut
off valve. Lucas fuel filter/water separator in each engine room for each engine. Tank vented
to deck. Both engines start from a dedicated engine starting battery. Fluorescent light in
each engine compartment. Engine controls in cockpit. Dual Yanmar tachometers. Warning lights
and audible alarm for low oil pressure - hight coolant - charging faults. Illumination switch. PLUMBING All
freshwater hoses of re-enforced PVC tubing with speedfit plumbing joints. Two water tanks of
300L each in GRP with baffles. Tank vents terminate on deck next to filler caps. One water
heater of 25 liters with resistor element and mixing thermostat. All sinks are self-draining.
Two Shurflo pressure pumps and each pump draws water from the appropriate fresh water and services
the entire boat. Complete with strainers, check valves and an accumulator tank. All gray water
from showers is discharged overboad by running into a holding tank and automatically been discharged.
Two manual whale Titan 100L/min bilge pumps in each AFT bedroom. Outlets are above water flushing
and discharge trhough sea-cocks. Holding tank for day toilet. ELECTRICAL
On
board DC electric's is 12 volts with two wire insulated return. Wires are sized to minimize
voltage drop. All light current conductors carrying an excess of 50 amps are 50mm2 copper PVC.
220 AC wiring is 2.5mm silicon tinned three wire system. AC wiring is protected by earth leakage
and Hagor circuit breakers. All AC wiring is terminated in the box outlets. There are nine
power point AC outlet plugs around the yacht. All light current circuits are protected by Carling
DC circuit breakers. These breakers are U.L. listed. The breakers are medium break and are
not influenced by ambient temperature changes. Batteries - the ship's aux. Load consists of
600 amp for service, 105 amp for engine starting. For good heavy current termination, copper
tinned bus bars are used. The 24-way DC main switch panel is located in the Nav. station. Link

SA. Spars built of extruded aluminium and epoxy powder coated in white. Double spreader with
7/8 fractional rig internal wiring shielded in PVC tube secured to mast. Boom, boom support
strut, standing and running rigging. Two x 2-speed winches for halyards. Navigation, deck and
anchor lights. VHF aerial, wind instruments and AM-FM aerial on top of mast. Sails by Doyle
- Cruise lam full batten mainsail with three reefs totaling 65m2. Main boom cover. Cruise lam
furling Genoa with UV and foam flattener. Genoa size is 51m2.
