| ACCOMMODATIONS, FURNISHINGS & LAYOUT: Sleeps
6 in 3 doubles with 2 heads and showers in 6'6" plus headroom. Forward cabin has 2 bunks
with filler cushion to make into double berth plus numerous drawers and lockers. Forward head
is to port with vanity, sink and shower, hanging lockers are opposite to stbd. Main cabin layout
has L shaped dinette to port which converts to double berth with an easily stowed folding dining
table. Opposite are two chairs, built-in bar and assorted cupboards, shelves and storage. The
U shaped galley is further aft to port with deep double S/S sinks, large fridge and freezer,
stove and formica counter tops. Centerline companionway steps to cockpit with nav station opposite
galley. Just aft of nav area is the passageway to aft cabin which has a workbench, electrical
panel, bookcase and additional chart stowage. The master aft cabin has 2 bunks which convert
to queen double, full size hanging locker, bureau and numerous other lockers and drawers. The
aft head is fully enclosed with sink and shower. There are bed linens and towels for 6. [see

GALLEY: Shipmate 3 burner propane stove with
oven; Grunnert 6 cu. ft fridge and separate deep freeze; pressure water system with 6 gal hot
water tank; microwave oven; cooking utensils, charcoal BBQ and crockery and cutlery for 6.

amp/hrs-new 2000) and 1 - 12V start battery ( 95); Northern Lights M643 - 120V/5KVA Generator

plus a searchlight.

DECK EQUIPMENT: Stainless steel bow pulpit,
stanchions with life lines and stern rail. Swim ladder; boat hook; numerous dock lines and
8 fenders. Canvas equipment: Dodger, awning, sail covers, hatch covers, wheel cover and cockpit
cushions. Ground tackle: 44 lb Bruce anchor with 200 ft of 3/8" chain and 33 lb Bruce
with 50 ft of 3/8" chain and 250 ft. of 7/8" line. 10 ft. Caribe RIB dinghy with
15 hp Yamaha. 3 - Aluminum propane tanks (60 lb total).
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: 8 Type III life jackets; 4
fire extinguishers (dry & CO2); assorted flares and flare gun; MOB pole and life ring;
horn; bell; first aid kit and emergency tiller.
SAILS & RIGGING: Aluminum mainmast (keel
stepped) and mizzen mast (deck stepped); S/S standing rigging, Stalok terminals and dacron
running rigging. 2 Whisker poles; jiffy reefing on main and mizzen; roller furling genoa. 6
Winches (2-self-tailing). 6 Sails: 1993 Doyle main in good condition, Doyle flasher (good),
UK mizzen staysail and genoa (good), UK jib and UK mizzen (old-bad condition). Sail area: 875
sq. ft. Mast steps for main and mizzen.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: 1980
Ford Lehman fresh water cooled engine with Borg Warner 1.5:1 transmission, hydraulic wheel
steering and fixed propeller. Cruising at 7 knots with maximum speed 8 knots. Total engine
hours at aproximately 2500 as of March 2001. Marine Air 16,000 btu A/C system; propane heating;
3 electric and 1 manual bilge pumps. Numerous spares for all systems.
CONSTRUCTION: Designed by Ted Brewer and built
at Whitby Boat Works in Ontario, Canada in 1980. Fibreglass hull, balsa core reinforced deck,
encapsulated lead ballast, full keel. 3 Aluminum fuel tanks, 3 F/G water tanks and 1 F/G holding
tank (capacity unknown).
COMMENTS: Yacht was built to make transatlantic
crossing, but never done. She was used in Nescafe commercials. Present owners are the third
owners and have live aboard since purchase. A major refit was performed in 1989. 2 Main water
tanks re-built in mid 90's and rudder extended in mid 90s which solved weather
helm problem.. This yacht has never been chartered and is a very comfortable cruising home.
