| ACCOMMODATIONS, FURNISHINGS AND LAYOUT: Sleeps
6 in 6'4" headroom with 2 heads and 3 showers. From forward: Double berth with seat and
storage, followed by a head and shower to port with hanging locker opposite. In the main salon
there are 2 fold up settee berths and a good size dining table. Centerline steps lead up to
the cockpit with the galley to stbd in the passage way to the aft cabin. The nav station is
to port of the companionway. The aft cabin on this Hylas 44 has a centerline queen double berth
(not offset as shown in the standard layout diagram below), with vanity/mirror area and lots
of storage. The aft head and shower can be entered from either the master aft cabin or the
nav area. There is ample storage and hanging lockers, plus a third shower which is topside
at the stern deck area.
GALLEY: Pressure and manual water systems; 2
burner LPG stove with oven; fridge and freezer which are powered by engine driven compressor
and a 6 gal hot water tank (heated by engine or shore power). Propane BBQ. Assorted cutlery,
crockery, cooking utensils and bed linens.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 12V/110V (AC/DC systems);
2 batteries (new 2000); 40 amp battery charger; 2 - 65 amp alternator chargers; 110V/35A shore
power cord. Interior, navigation and deck lights with tri-color and masthead lights.
DECK EQUIPMENT: Stainless bow pulpit with rails;
stanchions with lifelines; fiberglass deck; swim ladder. 4 Dock lines and 6 fenders. 6 Life
jackets; 4-Man Seaworthy life raft; emergency tiller and flare gun. Inflatable dingy with 6
HP Nissan outboard. Canvas: Dodger, bimini and cockpit cushions. Two aluminum (20 lb ea) propane
tanks.
GROUND TACKLE: Nielsen 1000 electric anchor
windlass with 30 amp battery; 35 lb Plow and Danforth anchors each with 12 ft. of chain and
275 ft of line.
SAILS & RIGGING: Equipped for cruising;
aluminum spar stepped on keel; S/S standing rigging with dacron running rigging; Norseman/Swage
terminals; inner forestay and running backstays; Hyde roller furling and 7 Lewmar winches.
New Main(on order) with jiffy reefing and 2 genoas.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: 1987 Perkins diesel, freshwater
cooled, with bronze 3 bladed fixed propeller. Wheel steering, cockpit controls. Bilge blower
and 2 electric bilge pumps. 2 Fibreglass holding tanks (not connected).
CONSTRUCTION: Fibreglass hull, lead ballast,
Schiel keel, airex core deck, center cockpit, external teak trim. Water and fuel tanks are
stainless steel. Designed by German Frers and built by Queen Long Marine in Taiwan. Hull is
blue Awlgrip.
COMMENTS: History: Yacht was sailed by first
owner from Florida to Virgin Islands in 1987 and placed in charter until 1992. She was used
only occasionally thereafter by first owner and stored ashore when not in use. Hull was Awlgripped
in 1994 along with new interior upholstery and custom fitted bed linens for fore and aft berths.
Second owner purchased her in 1998 and has sailed and continued to maintain her until present
time.
